Dress: Urban Outfitters
Belt: Ross
Shoes: Nine West

Sorry, no big inspirational story for this one. I was running late this morning and this dress was the most comfortable (clean) choice I had. Usually when I wear this dress I play up its cuteness, but I wasn't in the mood for "cute", so I threw on this belt and matching rocking shoes. I think I was subconsciously influenced by the outfit Carrie wears in the first Sex in the City movie. The scene where her and big are apartment hunting ???

Dress: F21

Sweater: Loft

This is not a dress that I would typical pick for myself. I was in search of a dress with a modest length for work, but I couldn't find anything. I already had it in my head that I was going to be getting a new garment, so I couldn't leave the store empty-handed. Here is to impulse shopping! :D
This is the sweater I wore inside my office building because the A/C is still being ran by the Canadians

But the day really felt more like this...

Tank: F21
Sweater: Loft
Purse: Nine West

Maybe I should permanently change the blog title to as inspired by my budget. Until I start getting paid from my full time job, I'll have to keep being creative with my style. Which I've actually kind of enjoyed. I've been forced to work with what I have and experimented with color and print. It feels good to step out of your comfort zone.

Sweater: F21

There really was no need for a sweater today, but the air conditioner in my office building is clearly ran by Canadians. It gets so cold in there people bring blankets from home! Good thing for me I enjoy layering. Without my sweater this would be a plain polka dot dress. It would also be an inappropriately strapless for work dress.

Look who's back in front of the lens! This summer I have been working a part-time job which requires me to only wear black and white. Not much interesting about those outfits, but now that I'm back to my regular job I can have fun with clothes again!

In honor of working for a school district I wore plaid. I couldn't resist the print for today, but I probably won't be wearing it again until fall. I'm going to try to hang on to summer through its prints and colors for as long as I can.
