I love scarves. Easiest way I know to add character to an outfit.

Top - generic (Ross)
Shorts - Express (thrift store)
Belt - Loft
Scarf - Loft
Sandals - Nine West

If the clothes don't make the clown, I think at the very least they can bring out a sense of humor. This outfit made me feel like such a rebel!

To the left: our "old" dish set bought four years ago from a major retail store. To the right: our "new" dish set. A collection of vintage dishes from various thrift stores. We already had some vintage pieces that we kept, but we got rid of all the modern glasses, plates, and mugs.

My best find were the"NARA" Japanese porcelain plates from the circa 1580 collection. I only paid $2.99 for each for these! Other good finds were the collectors stained glass Pepsi-Cola glasses ($0.99 each), the collectors set of Morton salt mugs ($0.49 each), and a set of 3 rare William-Sonoma bowls ($2.99 each). My favorite items are featured below, including a 1970's cookie jar from Japan.

Dress: Loft
Sweater: Ann Taylor
Wedges: Loft

This time I was purely having fun with color. It's just my brightest color dress with my brightest color sweater. Very simple but very fun to wear :D
